Conversion of an existing agricultural barn into two new dwellings.

The barn and site were purchased with planning permission for one large dwelling but theĀ approved design was inefficient and the existing form lent itself to a double conversion. This became a key aspect of the brief and, despite an existing permission already being in place, the new application became the subject of a very stringent review as the property falls within the Jodrell Bank exclusion zone. Permission was finally granted after a prolonged period of negotiation.
